General:
Caution: Aircraft manufacturer’s specifications and instructions must be followed.
In the event of contradiction between aircraft manufacturer’s specification and Malabar’s,
aircraft manufacturer’s specification shall prevail.
1. We suggest a Malabar Sales Representative be consulted when several aircraft types are
to be maintained.
Note References:
{2} Model 175S-2 is provided with a Boom Assembly for
brake handling. An optional Brake Cradle is available for
both models 175 and 175S-2. Refer to the following for Brake Cradle selection:
– For F70, F100: specify BC300.
– For A300, A310, A319, A320, A321, B707, B720, B727, B737, B757, B767,
C130, DC8, DC9, MD80, MD90: specify BC400.
– For A330, A340, A380, B747, B777, B787, DC10, MD11, L1011: specify BC500.
{3} An optional nitrogen regulator and hose assembly is available for aircraft
tire service.
{4} Each jack includes a separate air operated hydraulic power unit. A
complete system consists of (2) two recovery jacks with hydraulic power units.
{5} Model 8689A is a 5-Point Under Axle System suitable for all aircraft
listed.
{6} Model 8688A is a 3-Point Under Axle System suitable for A319, A320,
A321, B717, B727, B737, DC9, MD80, MD90 and F100 aircrafts.
{7} Modell 8834 tests the complete tripod jack structure and
hydraulic cylinder assembly. This unit is suitable for
various tripod jacks from 10 to 120 ton capacity. Consult Malabar for a
current listing of jack models that may
be tested with this unit.
{8} Model 8429E is a portable test unit suitable for testing the tripod
jack cylinder assembly and relief valve setting
only. The unit includes an accessory axle jack base for load testing axle
jacks. Consult Malabar for a current
listing of jack models that may be tested with this unit.
{9} Model 8833 tests the complete axle jack cylinder assembly. Consult
Malabar for a current listing of jack models
that may be tested with this unit.
