The Malabar Model 8838 Beam Assembly is a 50 ton capacity beam designed primarily for use in jacking the B737 main landing gear in a “dual flat” tire condition when used in conjunction with two Malabar Axle Jack Models 832R, 50P9AR, 60P10, 65P10, 65P10AR or 95P10AR. It is recommended to use two of the same axle jack models with the beam. Axle Jack Model 50P10AR will provide approximately 1 3/4 inch tire clearance and other specified axle jack models will provide approximately 2 3/4 inch tire clearance. The beam can be rotated horizontally for airplane axle clearance during installation and rotated vertically prior to jacking procedure.
